While I officially joined the mortgage industry in 2014, it wasn’t my first experience with the business. My mom worked in home financing and taught me pretty much everything I needed to know. I tried to stay away from the mortgage industry but kept running back to it! Ultimately, home financing is filled with numbers and serving communities – my two passions.  I’m proud to work with people to buy their first home, invest in real estate, and create opportunities for generational wealth for their families. Critical First Steps : The Home Loan Process
With our 30 years of experience our agents make the process less overwhelming. Our agents, along with the lender, will help you stay informed throughout the process. The first thing to do is consult with a mortgage specialist (or two). If you do not already have someone in mind, we can get you in touch with a loan officer.

Before you start looking for a home to buy, it is a good idea to meet with your loan officer to get pre-approved for a loan amount. The lender gathers information about income, assets, and debts of the borrower (you) to determine how much house you may be able to afford. This includes a credit report, W-2 forms, pay stubs, Federal Tax Returns, and recent bank statements. There are a variety of different loan programs, so make sure to get pre-qualification for the specific programs that best suit your needs.
Application and Processing
Your Loan Goes Live!
When you offer is accepted, you are ready to buy, your lender will help you complete a full mortgage loan application and talk you through the various fees and down payment options. Once all completed and returned the loan is sent to an underwriter who reviews your application for final approval. While the loan process is being completed our team will walk you through the next steps including the appraisal, title exam, inspections, and surveys.
Let’s Get Closed and Moving
Once your loan is fully approved it will be moved to closing. Together with the title company we will coordinate the transfer of utilities and keys. Next Step … moving day
